Me and my hubby got the double scoop ice cream. Fig with Almond & Rum with Raisin flavour, absolutely delicious!!! We now have a love the fig and almond which would totally recommend. They were super friendly and lovely ladies who were serving and the music was great vibes! We will be coming back to Sugar Mamas

Quite possibly the best waffles we have ever had, in a lovely setting with friendly staff. The brisket and hash brown Bennie waffle was absolutely incredible and a very generous portion which was heartily welcomed! The corn fritter waffle was also delightful. We also sampled the ice cream which was delicious (watermelon and mint being a personal fave), and very refreshing in the heat. The coffee was also amazing. Could not recommend this place more! 10/10

Amazing selection of sweet and savory waffles! I wanted to try everything as they all looked so good. I would eat in next time as we got take away to eat by the beach but that meant it was a bit soggy. The iced latte here was excellent as well

What an amazing find! If you’re around Moffat Beach, this is the spot for a proper brekkie or a sweet treat. The waffles are seriously next level — fluffy, flavourful, and plated with so much creativity. But hands down, the star of the show is the Japanese waffle. It’s a brand-new flavour and honestly, the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely top-notch. Another standout is the almond croissant waffle — the cream is AMAZING, with a dreamy texture that just melts in your mouth. The staff are super lovely and welcoming. A special shoutout to Bia, the chef — always smiling and making sure everything is just right. You can really feel the love she puts into every dish. And if you’re into good coffee and top-quality chocolate… do yourself a favour and try the mocha. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Sugar Mama is now officially my go-to spot. Great vibes, creative menu and heaps of flavour in every bite.

Best savoury waffle I’ve had anywhere! Recommend the Spicy Chorizo for generous and tasty chunks of sausage. Great batter cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly, amazing views and lovely locals. We have 4 days here and will be back again tomorrow!

Oh my gosh this place was heaven for a coeliac like me! They have a really thorough allergy statement. All of their waffles are gluten free, with some toppings not GF. The food was delicious!!.

Great little cafe in Moffat beach offering waffles both savoury and sweet and an ice-creamery. We ordered from the savoury menu with the basic bacon & egg waffle, the spicy egg waffle and the benny waffle and they were all generous portions and really really yummy! Washed it down with an iced chocolate, which was good but could have been even better with a scoop of vanilla icecream added. Reasonable price, cosy space, good vibe and fantastic, friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
